Halls of Ivy is a training provider delivering training in the hair and beauty industry.
Halls of Ivy is the Data Controller for all treatment bookings and for all private courses including NVQs and short courses.
Halls of Ivy is the Data Processor for all funded training including apprenticeships. Halls of Ivy will make learners aware who the Data Controller is for their funded course.

What information do we collect?
We collect contact information about you when you book a treatment or course on our website.
We collect information about you when you apply for a funded course including an apprenticeship.
We collect information about you when you apply for a vacancy at Halls of Ivy.
We may collect information about you from third parties including reference requests, Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS), referral organisations and local authorities.
Halls of Ivy will obtain parental consent when collecting data about children (under 16)

How will we use the information about you?
If you are booking a treatment or course with Halls of Ivy, we will use your contact information to contact you regarding your course or treatment booking.
If you are applying for a funded course with Halls of Ivy, we will collect contact information to contact you regarding your application.
If you enrol onto a funded course with Halls of Ivy, your data will be shared with the funding organisation and the Government body funding your course.
If you have consented to being contacted for news and offers we will contact you with offers and news.
We may need to share your information to a competent law enforcement body, government agency or other third party where we believe disclosure is necessary i.e. as a matter of applicable law or regulation, to exercise, establish or defend our legal rights, to protect your vital interests or those of any other person.
Data Retention
Halls of Ivy will not retain your data for longer than is necessary to fulfil the purpose for which we collect the information, unless the law or governing body guidelines require us to keep it for longer.
